The Prince and the Showgirl will be screened at the Forest Arts Centre on July 8 at 2pm, preceded by a short presentation by local author Ian Payne on Marilyn’s co-star, Richard Wattis, who was born in Staffordshire. There is also a current display at Walsall Museum regarding Showgirl‘s turbulent production.
